This is a Duck hold knife crochet pattern I collected from Sirpurlgrey, I found it very cute and wanted to share it with you guys. Now let’s do it with me!
Materials
– Medium/worsted weight yarn: Yellow (Y), orange (O), pink (P) Hook size: 4.0 mm
– Yarn needle, scissors, polyfill
– Black, white, yellow felt
– Two 8.0 mm safety eyes

st – stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
inc – increase
dec – decrease
BODY
R1: With Y, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2: inc in each st around (12)
R3: (sc 1, inc) six times (18)
R4 (sc 2, inc) six times (24)
R5: sc in each st around (24)
R6: (sc 3, inc) six times (30)
R7-13: sc in each st around (30)
R14: (sc 3, dec) six times (24)
R15: (sc 2, dec) six times (18)
R16: (sc 1, dec) six times (12)
Insert safety eyes below R8 and 8 stitches apart.
R17: dec six times (6)
Finish with a sl st. Stuff with polyfill and sew the opening closed.
WING (Make 2)
R1: With Y, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2: (inc, inc, sc 1) two times (10)
R3: sc in each st around (10)
R4: (sc 3, dec) two times (8) Finish with a sl st.
BEAK
R1 With O, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2 (sc 1, inc) three times (9) Finish with a sl st.
FOOT (Make 2)
R1: With O, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2: (inc, inc, sc 1) two times (10)
R3: sc 4, dec, sc 4 (9)
Finish with a sl st.
KNIFE HANDLE
With P, chain 4.
Skip first ch, sc 3, ch 1 and turn.
Skip first ch, sc 3, ch 1 and turn.
Skip first ch, sc 3, ch 1 and turn.
Fasten off.
Cut a knife blade shape out of gray felt using the template below.
Fold the knife handle in half around the thin part of the felt. Use the yarn tail to sew the edges of the knife handle together.
