Notes when crochet pattern of Owl wearing a scarf:
– This crochet pattern can work in both rounds and spirals, in order to crochet in the rounds, you will need to join at the end of each round with a slip stitch (slst) and chain one (ch) to start the new round. To crochet in spirals, there is no need to join with a slip stitch (slst) or chain one (ch1) at the end of each round.

– Plastic safety doll eyes
– Crochet hook size 3mm
– Ribbon or string (20cm)
– Small eye glasses (optional)

Eyes: insert the eyes at the centre of the head, between R5 and R6 with approximately 3 stitches apart. Begin stuffing the body with fibre fill firmly as you go.

Scarf
Step 1: chain 62 (62)
Step 2: skip 2 stitches and crochet 60dc into the back bump of each chain stitches (60)
Step 3: FO, loop through some yarn strands to create the tassels at the end.
Assembly
– Starting from R13, use a white coloured yarn (or any colour of your choice) to sew three rounds of vertical stitches.
– Tail: count to R15 starting from top of the head, sew on tail to the centre back of the body.
– Wings: count to R10 starting from the top of the head, between R10 – R12, sew wings to each side on a slight angle. The wings should be about 10 stitches apart from each other
counting from the front.
– Scarf: tie on the scarf by folding it in half and loop one end through to the other.
– Attach hanging ribbon to top of head.
